Saesee Tiin was a long lived male Ikotchi Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the decades leading up to the Republic's end. He was a renowned ace who could fly most space and air transportation. Starfighter was his main choice when he was assigned such missions. He was given a senior seat on The Jedi Council by the 50s BBY which he held for the next 3 decades til the clone wars, overseeing many decisions affecting the fate of the galaxy. In his last moments, Tiin accompanied fellow council masters Windu, Fisto and Kolar to arrest chancellor Palpatine, who was outed as the sith lord Darth Sidious and upon entering the chancellor's office, he was slain by the dark lord alongside his colleagues in what would mark the start of Order 66 and the Great Jedi Purge.
