This clone was born and then raised on clone homeworld Kamino as a clone of the Bounty hunter Jango Fett and, under a Jedi General Luminara Unduli, Gree led 41st Elite Corps in numerous battles. He saw deployments on such heated battlefronts like at Kashyyyk. He himself wore camouflaged armor to better blend into a jungles surroundings. Though the faithful commander who carried out the Jedi orders, Gree was ultimately loyal to their Republic, so when Palpatine enacted Order 66, he would accept his orders and that the Jedi Order betrayed their Republic, and therefore became enemies of state, but he'd been killed by a Jedi Yoda.

Service to the Republic

Trained for the Clone Wars

CC-1004 was cloned from the bounty hunter Jango Fett on a cloning planet of Kamino, raised to be a Clone Trooper for the Grand Army to serve their Old Galactic Republic in the rank of Clone Trooper Commander. The standard education of clones provided basic information on the various species of their Old Republic, but the CC-1004's sense of individuality developed, he chose to become an expert on alien cultures. CC-1004 set about seeking information with such fervor that he'd taken his own name from the tentacled alien species, "Gree" was given command of the 41st Elite Corps and appointed to serve Jedi Master General Luminara Unduli during a Clone Wars conflict.

Commander of 41st Elite Corps

The 41st specialized in long-term deployments on alien worlds, where they conducted "hearts and minds" operations in trying conditions to gain the allegiance of their native populations. Commander Gree learned further of alien species and customs, becoming an expert in the subject, and his unit soon gained the reputation as specialists in hostile conditions, alien recruitment, also counterinsurgency operations. They'd pioneered usage of the All Terrain Recon Transports, BARC speeder bikes, and the Juggernaut tanks for reconnaissance missions. At some point in their wars, a Clone Commander Gree took on a double stripe hairstyle, forgoing the natural black hair to honor his comrades that perished in the war. He participated alongside their Green Company when they rescued Naboo Senator Padmé Amidala, Representative Jar Jar Binks, and their protocol droid, C-3PO from Separatist leader, Viceroy Nute Gunray following the mission to Rodia. They were also able to capture Gunray. Gree, along with Master Luminara Unduli, and Jedi apprentice Ahsoka Tano were they were stationed on the Tranquility to escort Gunray to Coruscant to stand trial. However, the assassin Asajj Ventress, had boarded Tranquility to free or murder Gunray before he spoke to the Republic. Gree assisted the Jedi in to defeat droids.

He then guarded Gunray with a Senate Guard Commando captain Argyus. However, Captain Argyus betrayed Gree and freed Gunray. He alerted Unduli and Ahsoka to Argyus's betrayal. Despite knocking Argyus out, Gree was then knocked out by Gunray, and the Separatists escaped the Tranquility. CC-1004 was present on the bridge of their ship as the Jedi debriefed to a Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. Later in the war, Gree fought in the Second Battle of Geonosis. Gree, Rex, Skywalker, Unduli, and their troops distracted Poggle's forces while Offee and Tano planted bombs in the droid foundry. During their last days of war, Gree commanded the Battle of Kashyyyk alongside Unduli and a Grand Master Yoda. Gree and Yoda took up position in a command post in the tree city of Kachirho, joined by natives Tarfful and Chewbacca. The Wookiees led the charge on the beach below, while the 41st flanked the droid forces from the boughs of Kachirho; Yoda and Gree remained at their post. Near the end of the war and in the middle of that Battle of Kashyyyk, Commander Gree was given order 66, which named all Jedi as enemies of the Republic. Upon the order he and another trooper attempted to kill Grand Master Yoda, however Gree and the clone were instead swiftly decapitated by the diminutive Grand Master.
