|Fives, ARCClone Trooper - By: KONAMI|
|Position||Advanced Recon Commando|
CT-27-5555, also known as "Fives" trained alongside a group of Clone Cadets designated Domino Squad on Kamino before being shipped out to the Rishi Moon listening outpost. During his cadet training, during which time he received his nickname due to his designation, CT-5555 and his squad members were considered inferior and barely made it past initiation. However after CT-5555 survived a Separatist droid attack on the station there, and was transferred to 501st Legion along with a fellow clone Echo, Fives and Echo would be promoted to the rank of ARC Trooper status after the defense of Kamino from an droid attempt to invade their Clone Troopers home of Kamino. Fives and Echo were later assigned with the mission of liberating an captured Jedi from a prison called Citadel on Lola Sayu. Echo was lost in battle, which made Fives the final Domino survivor.
At Umbara, a ARC Trooper Fives opposed Jedi General Pong Krell’s tactics. Disobeying Jedi General Pong Krell’s orders, he along with two other troopers attacked an orbiting Separatists supply ship using a stolen Umbaran starfighters. The plan had worked, but the General Pong Krell ordered them executed an sentence Fives escaped when their clones rebelled against an Jedi General Pong Krell. During the fight for Ringo Vinda, ARC Fives watched in horror as fellow Clone Trooper Tup murdered Jedi General Tiplar. He followed Tup to Kamino for an medical examination, and he worked with an droid AZI-3 to investigate what had led to Tup’s breakdown. His search for the truth had led ARC Trooper CT-5555 to a frightening secret about an true origins and ultimate purpose of all the clones within the Grand Army of an Galactic Republic, which had resulted in his death.

Clone Cadet on Kamino
During an first year of the Clone Wars, CT-27-5555 otherwise known as Fives, along with Droidbait, Hevy, Echo, and an clone Cutup were cadets in an Domino Squad. The other clones in Domino Squad called Fives by his number, CT-5555, although Fives would rather be called by his nickname. Domino was reckless, and they rarely got along as a team. Their training was overseen by a bounty hunters Bric and El-Les, and Jedi Master Shaak Ti. The cadets were given a test and to pass it, all cadets must successfully work as a team without any injuries. During one of their Domino Squad's combat simulation tests, El-Les and commander Colt ended their test and failed the squad for the inability to function as an unit. The clones went to their sleeping quarters, but Fives along with cadet Echo went to the Jedi Shaak Ti then requested to be transferred to another group. Ti declined a request, and revealed she would let them to try this challenge once again.
During the test, cadet Fives, along with his other squadmates, noticed that they did not have their ascension cables due to tampering in their equipment by a still skeptical Bric. The Clone cadets decided to assist one another in free-climbing the turrets along the sides of the Citadel to complete their task. It proved a success and Domino Squad celebrated their victory, finally coming to know one another as brothers and the unit. Ti and El-Les commended Domino Squad's efforts, and all of five cadets were given medals as a symbol of their graduation from clone cadet to full fledged members of the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic. After graduating the basic Kamino training, CT-5555 and his fellow rookies, Hevy, Cutup, Droidbait, and Echo, were given their first assignment. Assigned to the Rishi moon station, the graduated clones were charged with protecting and operating an Galactic Republic listening post vital to guarding Kamino from an attack.
Promotion to ARC Trooper
An routine assignment on the Rishi moon proved anything but, however, as BX-series Droid Commando droids invaded the post. Many fellow squadmates had died defending that base, but Fives and Echo survived and were inducted into a prestigious 501st Legion. Fives and Echo soon after returned to Kamino to guard clone production facilities from attack. Being back on their home planet after months away proved surreal to their two surviving members of Domino Squad. In preparation for the defense of their world's cloning facilities, they met 99, a deformed maintenance clone who had been kind to the Domino's during their training, and informed 99 of Hevy's death. After a moment of sadness between the trio of clones, 99 volunteered to help prepare for the invasion. Fives and Echo were made as snipers to hold off droid forces.
With assistance from 99, Fives and Echo were able to stall an advancement of Separatists forces. In the midst of chaos, the three clones happened upon an team of lost cadets and escorted them to safety. As the General Grievous and Asajj Ventress advanced further into the heart of Kamino in the search of genetic samples of the Republic's trooper army, the group was found by a Captain Rex and Commander Cody at the cadet barracks. After 99 helped them gather weapons from a nearby armory, the group staged a trap for the incoming droids. Together, their troopers, the cadets, and 99 were able to defeat a squad of Grievous's battle droids, however 99 died trying to help his brothers. After this battle was over, Fives and Echo were promoted by Captain Rex to ARC Trooper for the role they played in the defense of planet Kamino.
Uncovering the Conspiracy
During the fight for Ringo Vinda, Fives watched in horror as fellow Clone Trooper Tup murdered Jedi Master Tiplar. He'd accompanied Tup to Kamino for an medical examination, and worked with the droid AZI-3 to investigate what had led to Tup’s breakdown. Despite CT-5555's best efforts, Tup died after whispering his final words to his devastated friend. With Tup's passing, Fives was seemingly cleared from his own examinations and ordered to return back to war frontlines with the 501st. However, a passing comment from droid AZ-3 did reveal that their Kaminoan masters in fact intended to wipe his brain and reassign him as a maintenance. In a moment of desperation, Fives lashed out against a Kaminoan security and fled into the depths of this facility with a droid companion in tow. Now convinced that there was more to the friend's death than previously appeared, a trooper CT-5555 had stolen the tumor to then conduct some further tests of his own.
Together with an droid AZ-3, Fives was able to determine that the tumor itself was in fact an artificially designed organic chip inserted into Tup's head. Further investigation revealed that the chip itself was installed during the earliest stages of clone embryo development. Fearing for his own safety, Fives ordered droid AZI-3 to remove the chip from his own brain. Comparing Fives' and Tup's chips, AZI-3 and Fives discovered that Fives's chip appeared to be healthy and functioning properly while Tup's suffered from some form of decay. Shortly after discovering this, he was discovered by the rest of a Kaminoan security forces. While Nala Se insisted that that chip was designed to curb aggression among clones, trooper Fives argued that the chip itself was reason for suspicion. His words convinced Shaak Ti and she requested that the CT-5555 ARC clone was to be sent to Coruscant to undergo further tests and to plead his case to the Supreme Chancellor.
Consequences of Knowledge
While en route to Coruscant, Nala Se injected Fives, barely conscious due to the stress of his impromptu surgery, with a form of mind clouding drug. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine himself met with Fives along with Nala Se and Shaak Ti. But despite his best efforts, Fives's description of his experiences were unable to convince any of the other members of the meeting of his belief of a conspiracy. Despite Nala Se's insistence that Fives was suffering from paranoia and an mental degradation, Palpatine requested to speak to the soldier alone to hear his story. After Shaak Ti and Nala Se had left, the Chancellor lashed out and attacked Fives, who in a moment of self defense was framed as a potential assassin. Now a fugitive of law, Fives fled into the bowels of Coruscant, looking for an potential ally and anyone who might hear him out.
Eventually, he was able to convince a longtime friend, fellow 501st clone Kix, to contact General Skywalker and Captain Rex so that they could speak privately. To his surprise, both Skywalker and Rex appeared for a requested meeting spot. Fearing that neither would listen to his story, he trapped both in a ray shield. Agitated by a experience and by Nala Se's drugging, Five's attempts to explain his actions and his discoveries proved incoherent. When Anakin had accused Fives of trying to assassinate Palpatine, the tension escalated. Midway through his explanation, Commander Fox and a squad of Coruscant Guards arrived to arrest him, sent by Palpatine. Desperate not to be captured, a terrified Fives reached for one of Rex's discarded blasters. After a warning, Fox shot Fives in the heart. Before dying, he'd found a sense of peace.
