|CC-5052 (Bly) Commander of the 327th Star Corps - By: KONAMI|
|Position||Clone Trooper Commander|
CC-5052, nicknamed "Bly", was a Clone Commander who fought within the 327th Star Corps in the Clone Wars along with the Jedi Master Aayla Secura. He is a veteran that has fought in several battles during the war, including the Battle of Quell, and would later fight during the Outer Rim Sieges at the near end of the war. Clone Commander Bly developed a close working relationship with Jedi General Aayla Secura, who was always reassured to know the dependable Clone Trooper had her back. Near the end of the war, Bly along with every other trooper was given Order 66 from Chancellor Palpatine. Upon receiving the order, Bly and his fellow clones opened fire upon General Aayla Secura and executed her on Felucia.
Service to the Republic
Commander of the 327th
Bred on Kamino, CC-5052 was among the first generation of Clone Marshal Commanders to be trained, during which time he was given the designation "Bly". A Human clone of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, Bly was trained as an ARC Trooper, giving him an mindset and allowing him to think "outside the manual" when it came to the shifting of tactical situations. As a Clone Commander, it was Bly's job to act as an intermediary between the Jedi and the troopers, although he was bred to be loyal to the Republic above all others. Bly was assigned to the Republic's 327th Star Corps under Jedi General Aayla Secura, and the two developed a close bond during their shared service in the Clone Wars.
Execution of General Secura
In the final days of the Clone Wars, the 327th Star Corps, under the command of Secura, was sent to the planet Felucia where they tracked down Separatist Council member Shu Mai. However, Bly received a transmission from the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, Sheev Palpatine, ordering him to execute Order 66 which forced all clones to turn on their Jedi superiors. Secura and all other Jedi were now considered enemies of the Republic, leaving Bly with little choice but to abandon any friendship he might have had with Aayla and kill his former commanding officer by shooting her in the back. Bly was one of the few reluctant Commanders to follow up Order 66. He doubted he and his soldiers would still be standing if it had not been for Aayla Secura's quick thinking in the constant surprise attacks. When Bly fired he made sure the death was quick and painless. His men aided him, continuing to fire on Secura even after her body had hit the ground. Not taking any chances, Bly had his troops inspect Secura's corpse, confirming her death.
