Adi Gallia was a Tholothian Jedi Master of the Order who sat on the Jedi High Council during the Clone Wars. She was one of the Jedi Generals in the Grand Army of the Republic who'd fought many battles over the course of the war. She and other members of the ruling body would convene and decide on the important matters of the Order. Stern and focused, Gallia had remarked upon the more outrageous tactics carried out by the Jedi Anakin Skywalker or the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi during the war, but would rarely condemn their effective actions. Though not as brash as Anakin, Gallia was known to be an aggressive warrior who had no problem bringing the fight to their enemy. During the wars she was sent to investigate the Nightbrothers Darth Maul and Savage Opress, a Sith pair that used the Dark Side to wreak havoc in the Outer Rim. Gallia was killed by the Sith when she joined Jedi Kenobi to duel the horned siblings.
Biography
Early Life
Born more than six decades prior to the start of Galactic Civil War, on the Republic capital Coruscant, to some high-ranking diplomats from the planet of Corellia, Adi Gallia was found to be a Force-Sensitive and her name was recorded in the Kyber memory crystal at the Jedi Temple. During her early years, her parents were sent on a diplomatic mission to Lannik when the conference was attacked by a suicidal terrorist assassin pack. Her parents and all of the present royals were all saved by the timely intervention of an Lannik Master of the Jedi Order Even Piell. When recruiters came to retrieve Gallia, her parents had handed her over and Gallia entered into the Jedi Academy of the Order of the Jedi on Coruscant within Jedi Temple's halls.

Jedi of the High Council
Adi Gallia progressed through Jedi Academy until she graduated and was selected by a Master for one-on-one training. Crafting a Lightsaber using a kyber crystal, the Corellian woman chose to study a reverse grip style of wielding her own weapon. Gallia spent several years with her master, eventually passing the Trials of Knighthood and being elevated then to the status of Knight. After years of study Knight Adi was promoted to the rank Jedi Master by their Jedi High Council. Taking many assignments from the Order's governing body, Gallia formed many contacts on Coruscant and amongst a number of delegations of several Core Worlds. Master Gallia was appointed to the High Council, an honor she accepted with grace and humility. From this seat of power, the Master Adi Gallia had then continued to forge powerful bonds from within the Senate and the Judicial Department. Eventually after Gallia earned a position on the Jedi Council, she warned her colleagues of the Trade Federation's suspicious activities in Naboo System. Adi was present when the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn went to the Jedi Temple to report an attack by a mysterious Darksider whom he believed to be Sith to Jedi Council.
Then Jedi Master Qui-Gon also requested that a boy he found on Tatooine, Anakin Skywalker, be trained as a Knight, as he thought the boy to be the Chosen One. Gallia, along with the rest of the Jedi Council, was skeptical of this claim, and denied Skywalker training because he was too old. After Qui-Gon died at the hands Sith-Lord Darth Maul, Master Gallia and the High Council members agreed to allow Obi-Wan Kenobi to train Skywalker as his Jedi apprentice to fulfill Jinn's dying wish. Adi Gallia continued to serve the Jedi Council during the Separatist Crisis. She and her colleagues approved Obi-Wan Kenobi's investigation of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, as well as Padawan Anakin Skywalker's first mission to protect Senator Padmé Amidala from those who sought to assassinate her. Adi Gallia was a member of the Jedi assault team Mace Windu took with him to Geonosis in a successful attempt to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala, who were sentenced to death by Count Dooku in Petranaki arena. Gallia survived what would go down in history as the first battle of the Clone Wars, and she went on to become a Jedi General in the Republic's Grand Army.
Grand Republic General
When Eeth Koth was captured by the Separatists, Adi Gallia went with Skywalker and Kenobi to rescue him. They found out that Koth was located on Saleucami, and upon arrival Kenobi engaged General Grievous while Skywalker and Gallia boarded Grievous' ship to save Koth. Though the Jedi had planned to catch Grievous while he was engaging Kenobi on Master Kenobi's crusier, Grievous managed to escape from the Jedi. General Grievous' escape pod had landed on near Saleucami surface, and while Skywalker and Obi-Wan went down to the planet to chase the General, Adi took Jedi Eeth Koth to a medical frigate. Adi Gallia was present with fellow Jedi Council members Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, and Obi-Wan Kenobi at the Temple when clone Delta Squad brought back the remains of Jedi Master Halsey and his Padawan, Knox. Gallia surmised that in the past only Dooku's assassin was capable of this feat. She then pointed that Dooku's assassin was missing since she presumably died at the Battle of Sullust. Koon believed someone or something eluded their Jedi, and he suggested that it could be a new Sith-Lord. Obi-Wan thought otherwise and said it was an action of an "animal".
Adi Gallia went with Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Saesee Tiin to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi and his team from Lola Sayu. Gallia, Fisto, and Tiin took on the blockade around the planet while Master Plo saved Kenobi and their surviving forces. Fleeing the Citadel, the Jedi returned to Coruscant. Gallia's Jedi Cruiser was attacked by a Separatist fleet under the command of General Grievous. Adi Gallia battled the cyborg General when he boarded her ship, but she was defeated and caught. She watched as Grievous attacked a pirate ship. Adi Gallia was soon rescued by Master Koon, clone officer Wolffe, and the Wolfpack; again, Grievous escaped before he could be taken into custody. Gallia later aided Obi-Wan Kenobi as the Jedi searched the Outer Rim for Darth Maul, a restored Dark Lord of the Sith, and Savage Opress, a brother and student in the Dark Side of the Force. The two Jedi were able to track their targets to Florrum, and the Jedi then aided the pirate Hondo Ohnaka in a battle against the dark brothers. Master Adi Gallia was slain by a Sith-Lord Opress. The death of Adi Gallia opened up a seat on the Jedi High Council which would be filled in time so as to continue the efforts of the Order.

Lightsaber Skills: Like all the Jedi, Master Gallia was taught the ways of Lightsaber combat and the uses of the Force. During her Lightsaber studies, Master Gallia chose to adopt a reverse one-handed grip when wielding the blade, giving her the ability to counter attacks with long, wide swings and strikes. Over the other six forms of lightsaber style, Master Gallia preferred to employ a lesser practiced Form V, or Shien, an aggressive and physically demanding style of fighting. This allowed her to stand against the Confederate General Grievous and survive, and hold her own for some time in the duel against a Dark Lord of the Sith Savage Opress before he brutally murdered her. As Jedi Master Adi Gallia's abilities with Lightsaber was only rivaled by her affinity for piloting starfighters in battle, having trained with ace pilot Saesee Tiin.

Adi Gallia's Lightsaber: Master Adi Gallia created her own personal Lightsaber and possessed it after she was made a Jedi Master and eventually a member of Jedi Council, wielding it on many battlefronts, including an galaxy-wide conflict known as the Clone Wars. Master Gallia would later wield her personal weapon alongside fellow a Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi when the two battled the two Sith brothers, Darth Maul and Savage Opress, but she was no match for the sheer brute strength of Savage Opress, who gored her with his horns before ending the Jedi Master Gallia with his own blade. Later, Master Kenobi used Adi Gallia's lightsaber to confront the brothers, wielding it in conjunction with his own, where Kenobi managed to partially avenge it's murdered owner by using a dead Gallia's Lightsaber to cut a arm off of Opress.
